{ meet my muse }

Moodboard Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset
My first step when it comes to my illustrations is finding an industry-related inspiration; every page turn in a fashion magazine, racks of clothing backstage at NYFW, clothing flowing and floating down the runways, really inspiration is everywhere.  Sometimes I get inspiration overload and have to stop and rewind back to the first illustration idea.

Here is a recent illustration from this week- and the “muse” that was in my mind.  Hope you enjoy a little peek at my process.

    Thanks girls, It’s odd for me to share the inspiration so I really appreciate that.

    Hi Dallas! Just wanted to shout out and say I love your work! I’ve recently gotten back into sketching/painting and have been enjoying every moment. I, too, find inspiration from fashion mags/designers, etc., and the combo of social media + phenomenal designers/stores/fashion bloggers has paved the way for endless art inspo {hey, we can’t all make it to NYFW..diva!}.

    Thanks for sharing!

    xo Melissa
