Lace up shirts are all the trend these days. Sometimes it can be a tough look to pull off, but when done right it can be appropriate for any occasion. (Just make sure that lace doesn’t scoop down too low!) It’s flirty, fun, and a look that can work across season.
Pinterest got me searching for some favorite looks–Which you’ll find below. Where did you get your favorite lace up top?
So, with the warm weather rapidly approaching, I naturally start thinking boho. I like a subtle mix of boho and chic in the spring. The pom-poms, flowing tops, tassels and bright colors are just such a fun accent to a carefree look. What would be a simple top is completely transformed with just a little bit of fringe.
These were some of my pinterest favorites this week to give me some outfit inspo!
This crazy weather we’ve been having on the east coast makes it the perfect time to rock a felt wide brim hat. We’re just on the cusp of sunny warm weather, but it hasn’t fully happened just yet. Whether you’re spicing up a casual outfit, or going all out with a pair of leather skinny’s and booties–let it be known, I’m all for it. Here’s where I found some of my inspiration.
Last week for International Women’s Day, Marc Fisher invited me to share a picture on my instagram page explaining how shoes empower me. I grabbed his new Metallic Larsa Lace up Heel, snapped a shot, and added a small caption; “When your metallic shoes empower you to turn everything around you metallic.” I genuinely believe in the magic of fashion and I’ll be focusing on that heavily in the upcoming book so and wanted to share the photo here with you as well. (I know I haven’t shared much about the book but will soon- promised).
Hope it inspired you to wear some heels and make some magic today.
I don’t know about you guys, but this weather has me ready for spring colors and prints. I’ve been feeling inspired by the bright florals and mixed patterns I’ve seen through my digging for–you guessed it–the book!
These are a few of my favorite spring styles, what are yours?
There is something I can’t get enough of when it comes to the revolution of velvet. The 70’s vibe is something I totally connect with. Here are some of my favorite pinterest moments I found while researching for the book!
As always, I’ve been spending my week in search of the most amazing products to feature in the upcoming book. I can’t help but share some of these awesome booties I found on Nordstrom this week! Life’s too short to wear boring shoes.
Can I have one of each please? Keep an eye out on instagram, you might be seeing the sketched version!
I found the coziest of sweaters at Wildfox. If you haven’t shopped, you need to. Theres something about a feminine style with hints of distress that totally adore. This piece is light enough for all seasons–you don’t have to tuck it away at the end of winter like most sweaters. I love anything that can be styled in multiple ways.
There is SO much available on their website, so I went ahead and filtered my favorites below!
