It’s been a while since I’ve been to CA–So when the Carolina Herrera team invited me to California for the opening of the new store on Rodeo Dr, I couldn’t book my flight fast enough.

Since I’ve been working with the team on a few illustrations for the store opening we thought it would be nice to treat a small group of guests to fashion illustrations.

Thought I’d share some images from the event!

When I hosted the COACH re-opening event last month, I stumbled upon a bag that I had to have.  This is rare for me with bags, but my gut was right – I’ve been wearing it non stop.

It’s the Coach ACE Satchel. The design pairs luxe, velvety hair-calf with the nostalgic charm of a prairie floral print. And it’s so teeny!!! Only 6″ (L) x 4 1/4″ (W)–which I normally don’t gravitate too–but I absolutely love.

Sharing in case anyone else is equally obsessed.
(tip: while your there be sure to play in all of the Prairie inspired things from the 1941 collection. )

Design collaboration announcement!
Dallas Shaw x Elisa Solomon

So you loved the Jennifer Dawes Design collaboration right? Here’s the fun news. That was the first of FOUR design collaborations on the schedule!
The second? Elisa Solomon Jewelry.

I’ve been a long time fan of Elisa’s work since stumbling across her rings at abc carpet and was delighted when I met her last year in NYC. We had been hoping to collaborate when things settled down a bit and since things only got crazier, we decided to force some time to make it happen.

While we are in early design stages, I can’t wait to see where this one goes. We’ll be sharing all behind-the-scenes steps of this collaboration with you, because of course I’d love your input.  Here are a few bts snaps from our short breakfast pow wow a few weeks ago.
