It’s THE FLWRY season again! The Nicole’s are back at it–prescribing bouquets via THE FLWRY. Yes, you heard me right. Last week, we popped over to Philadelphia for their spring launch event to celebrate the season.
The event was stunning. Everything was floral and bright, fully equipped with a flower canopy! (I KNOW.)
We love these ladies project so much, we had no choice but to bring our little FLWRY bouquet to the office as essential decor.
Weather in a vase, or in the beautifully designed packaging–It’s certainly a prescription I don’t mind getting refilled!

Paris was so inspirational. The fact that a place like this exists is so humbling.
Breathtaking views that just go on for miles and miles. The palaces, the monuments, the carousels around every corner. We found ourselves changed people by the end of the trip and just fell completely in love with the city. (I’ve heard of that happening before but this trip was a real game changer for me.)
Aside from the views, on views, on views- the cafe lifestyle was so refreshing to be a part of. The French take time during their day to stop at a cafe and enjoy a coffee or tea. They sit for a while and the seats face the street so you can just stay a while and watch the world around you. Slowing down a bit was a lesson for me that I won’t soon forget.

It’s been an ok week cuz…I’m in Domino Mag! whaaaat? I’m always so excited to see my little home in magazines. I love bringing my personal style into the rooms and am flattered when people like it, so I was especially flattered when I got a call from domino for a feature.
My job in the fashion & lifestyle industry has taken me to places I’ve ever imagined. When I designed my company I thought most work would be done from the desk in my tiny office, instead I’ve been to places like Vienna, Canada, London, Oxford- and now, Paris.
The hotel was beautiful of course. Weary from the long flight, we were welcomed with a gift in room by the kind staff. Imagine my awe when the windows in the room opened (windows in hotels OPEN?!) to a courtyard of symmetrical, ivy filled windows. How. Very. Parisian.
Every morning I just stood there in the windows for a few minutes to take it in before we hit the streets. I’m am really looking fwd to bringing these window-memories into an illustration soon.
The location of this hotel was everything. Place Vendôme is a square in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France, located near the Tuileries Gardens and it is the starting point of the Rue de la Paix. Being in the middle of it all (near the louvre, the opera house and of course the shopping) is so helpful when traveling oversees, and this hotel was a two minute walk to everything.
Best part of the room? The bathroom, filled with brass fixtures, heated floors, double closets and all of the luxury travel amenities you might need (loofahs to nail kits) was a highlight. A bubble bath in Paris? – yes please. Not to mention the room had automatic blinds and velvet pillows on the worlds comfiest bed.
The hotel staff was kind and helpful. We saw them often at the amazing breakfast
bar in the morning, and again later at night when we hit the outside garden cocktail bar.
Looking fwd to sharing more photos of our trip here with you in the next few days.
There’s nothing quite like a spring shimmer. I’ve been researching a few favorites to spice up those lids this weekend. Gold is my go to, but I’m dying to test some of these bold looks as well! Stay tuned.
Lace up shirts are all the trend these days. Sometimes it can be a tough look to pull off, but when done right it can be appropriate for any occasion. (Just make sure that lace doesn’t scoop down too low!) It’s flirty, fun, and a look that can work across season.
Pinterest got me searching for some favorite looks–Which you’ll find below. Where did you get your favorite lace up top?
There’s nothing better than a low, messy bun for a quick and easy look. This low maintenance look is perfect for Monday mornings on the go! Pair with neutral make up and dark lashes for a simple chic style.
